WWE Meets the Marvel Universe

by yak max

The Marvel Universe captures the essence of good versus evil. The WWE proves to be identical in a sense where the “baby faces” (the good guys) are in frequent battles with the “heels” (in other words the bad guys). Imagine if WWE characters were created to resemble your most beloved and/or hated comic book characters.

Here is a list of 5 WWE Superstars and the characters they match:

1.) Triple H Matches Thor

Triple H (whose real name is Paul Micheal Levesque) is a character created by the WWE organization.

Currently, he is the COO of the organization and is inactive as a wrestler until further notice. While facing countless opponents, Triple H displayed his power and uniqueness which advanced him to a top spot in the company. His barbaric and viking-like demeanor sets him aside from other superstars. During his in-ring days, he possessed long blonde hair, great physique, and his weapon of choice was the sledge hammer. These attributes put him in high compatibility with Stan Lee’s creation, Thor.

2.)Ryback Matches Juggernaut

Ryback, (whose real name is Ryan Reeves) is another character created by the WWE organization. Ryback is credited for his freakishly large muscles and incredible strength. When Ryback first debuted, he quickly promoted his mantra, “Feed me more!” That quote became popular after Ryback decimated his opponents, and lifted sometimes more than two opponents at a time before dropping them like a sac of potatoes. His disturbingly large figure and extreme power put him in high compatibility with Stan Lee’s creation, the Juggernaut.

3.) Cm Punk Matches Wolverine

Cm Punk, (whose real name is Phillip Jack Brooks) is arguably the most controversial and eccentric superstar the WWE has. Known for his charisma and attitude, his character expresses actions of a loner who can over come the odds despite not being the biggest dog in the fight so to speak. He stands behind a life style of practicing “straight edge” behavior. A lifestyle that neglects any form of drugs or self destructing vices. His symbolic trademark of crossing his fists in the shape on an “X” represents the straight edge commitment. His rugged demeanor, loner-like attitude, his love to fight, and his symbolic “X” shaped hand gestures puts him in high compatibility to Len Wein’s creation, Wolverine.

4.) Daniel Bryan Matches Rocket Raccoon

Daniel Bryan, (whose real name is Bryan Danielson) is debatably the most popular and highly liked superstar in WWE history. Daniel Bryan, known for his iconic “Yes-movement,” separates himself from other superstars by his natural speed, talent, and charisma. Although he is the shortest of many competitors, his will and determination allows him to outshine his opponents. His unquestionable popularity, speed, marksman-like prescision of delivering submission moves, and his trademark hair on his face puts him in high compatibility with Bill Mantlo’s creation, Rocket Raccoon.

5.) Undertaker Matches Dr. Doom

The Undertaker, (whose real name is Mark Williiam Callaway) is a veteran performer of the WWE organization. He has earned the nickname, “The Phenom” after his countless triumphs over opponents at Wrestlemania therefore possessing a perfect record. His auora personifies a supernatural force provoked by a deeper and darker entity. Every move the Undertaker makes proves to be cold and calculated. There is no indication whether or not he is a bad guy or a good guy, he stands in the industry as his own force. The dark demeanor and hooded attire, grim complex, and his code of honor for respected opponents most definately puts him in high compatibility with Stan Lee’s creation, Doctor Doom.
