What is prime reality – what is really real? What is ultimately real?
A. Leave It to Beaver – The family views themselves and the world around them as real, but they also know that there is an eternal Heaven and Hell too.
A. Modern Family – The family views themselves and the world around them as real, but don’t care about the consequences of what they do to themselves, do to others, and do to the world.
What is the nature of the external world?
A. Leave It to Beaver – The family views the external world in a state of decay which will only get worse until Jesus comes for the Second Advent.
A. Modern Family – The family views the external world as a place for them to use up as many resources possible before they die.
What happens to a person after death?
A. Leave It to Beaver -After the family dies, they will go to Heaven because they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and accepted Him in their hearts.
A. Modern Family – The family views death as the finality of their lives.
How do we know what is right/wrong? What is the basics of ethics?
A. Leave It to Beaver – The family knows the difference between right and wrong from the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount from the Bible – also from the Holy Spirit.
A. Modern Family – The family lets the individuals in the family decide what is right and wrong based on what they feel is right and wrong.

A. Leave It to Beaver – The family views that the nature and goal of history is God’s way of showing mankind that it is best to follow God’s will versus their own sinful will.
A. Modern Family – The family views that the nature and goal of history started with “The Big Bang” and will end somehow or some form – everything else does not mater, really.
As one can tell, the answers to seven questions are very different from each other. Television shows have definitely changed over the years.
