Why should you start here?
Do you have any better ideas? Has anything else worked?
The reasons why you should start with steps one and two, is quite simple, they’ve been the steps that I credit with saving my life. I tried everything to lose weight, excessive exercise, different books, fads and weight loss plans, and nothing worked. I wasted so much time, effort, and money on trying to lose weight, and suddenly, I make these two major changes, and everything changes for me. All I had to do, was gain control of my eating and start walking first thing every morning on an empty stomach. It was an incredible start, to which eventually became my successful, permanent weight loss.
It was so different this time. It was not like any other failed weight loss attempt. I wasn’t cutting any foods out of my diet, punishing myself, or coming up with “crazy rules.” I was at the beginning steps, of real change. There wasn’t going to be anymore “food games.”
Step one, is all about learning how to eat. It’s about being satisfied, eating enough, warding off binges, and it’ll repair your metabolism. I have never been out of control with food or overate, since I made those step one changes.
Step two, I can not say enough about as well. Walking has boosted my confidence, it makes me feel good, and its been able to help me control my emotions. The walking hasn’t only helped me burn fat, its done wonders to help me manage my depression. I rely on walking, to make me feel good, rather than food as I once did. Walking gives me the time I need to focus on me.
I couldn’t for the life of me, put a stop to my food addiction. The more I tried to “be good,” the more I turned to food. Over time, the binges got longer and the amount of food I ate greater. The things I did to myself were getting more abusive as well. I’ve been blessed by figuring out step one and two. My days don’t begin without either. They are habit, and part of my new ways. They’ve given me back my life. Because of both, I can live again. Food addiction and binging, that’s no life. Carrying around an enormous amount of weight, that’s no life. That was once me. Now, I’m living life, becoming happier as life has gone on, and I’m able to take on any challenge I can dream up. I had to learn for myself, what it would take to achieve weight loss success. What I was doing wasn’t working, but I was so ready to change. I was willing to try anything new, to stop feeling sick. I needed to deal with my sickness. I changed my ways, and it all began with these two important steps. They’ve saved my life.
