Am I the only one who is overjoyed that spring is finally here? Probably not. What better way to celebrate the season than by updating your wardrobe to reflect the freshness spring delivers. Here are a few of the hottest spring trends:
White Pumps– A fresh, clean color to celebrate spring, a white pump goes great with lighter color distressed jeans. To add an even bigger impact go for a metallic toe.
Mesh– This look isn’t for everyone. But if you feel like you can rock it, then rock it. There is lots of room for creativity here. Layer a white mesh shirt over a bright colored racer back tank. For a more chic look, layer black and white together.
Boyfriend Jeans– These jeans are more slouchy and less fitted than jeans made for a woman. It gives a really casual look to any outfit. Because the cut is boxy and less feminine, I like to wear them with a t-shirt and blazer layered with lots of long mismatched necklaces.
Pink– This spring staple reminds us of flowers blooming and pure happiness. This can be done in small pops, like a shoe or a bag, but if you are feeling especially confident there is no reason you can’t wear a pink blazer or even a pink cigarette pant. Pink is an awesome way to welcome spring and say goodbye to the polar vortex!
Cat-Eye Sunglasses– Picking up a new pair of sunnies is a great way to update your wardrobe for spring without breaking the bank. These give a beautiful vintage, retro vibe and will make you feel fabulous.
Crop Tops– this trend was huge over the winter in the warmer climates, but now that spring has sprung everywhere, we can all enjoy this trend! The crop top is best done in a boxy-style shirt with just a slim band of skin showing. Just a hint of sexiness, nothing over the top.
Blazer– Though the blazer is a year-round staple it is especially great for spring because it can keep you warm and fashionable simultaneously. Throw on a bright, printed scarf to complete the look.
