Top Water Parks Within Driving Distance of Sioux City, Iowa

Sioux City, Iowa, doesn’t have its own water park, but that doesn’t mean your kids can’t spend the afternoon splashing this summer. Here are the top four water parks within driving distance of Sioux City.

King’s Pointe Water Park and Resort
King’s Pointe Water Park and Resort is located on the banks of the lake in Storm Lake, Iowa. King’s Pointe features a seasonal outdoor park and year-round indoor water park. The outdoor park features 5 water slides, diving boards, a lily pad walk, kiddie slides, a surf side grille and more. The indoor park has a large pool, 3 slides, a lazy river and a snack shack. There is an adjacent resort featuring rooms that can be booked in conjunction with park tickets. Water oral admission ranges from $15 for adults, to $12 for children 3 and older. A non-swimming pass can be purchased for $5. There are weekly specials like Friday Night Splash where a pass is only $5 for admission from 4-9 PM. King’s Pointe is located at 1520 East Lakeshore Drive in Storm Lake.

Wild Water West
Wild Water West is the largest water park in the Sioux City area and is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is an outdoor park that features a 65 foot-tall slide tower where you can choose from 4 different slides. Wild Water West also has a wave pool, swim-up bar, lazy river, Caribbean falls, go karts, mini golf, paintball and more. There are several hotel partners in the area that offer discounted rates with park tickets. Wild Eater West is located at 26767 466 Ave in Sioux Falls. They are open from 11-8 seasonally, and passes start at $24.95 for adults to $14.95 for kids. There is a discount available for purchasing online.

Boji Splash at Bridges Bay Resort
Boji Splash is the indoor water park located at the Bridges Bay Resort in Arnold’s Park, Iowa. Bout Splash features water slides, a 500-gallon dump bucket, water dropping mushroom, lily pad walk and more. Bonk Splash is open 9-10 daily, in season, and selected days and times in the off season. For guests staying at the Bridges Bay Resort several passes are complimentary with the room, and additional passes can be purchased for $10. Bridges Bay is located at 630 Linden Dr in Arnold’s Park, Iowa.

Coco Key Water Resort
Coco Key water resort is a 60,000 square foot indoor water park located in the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska. It features 3 40′ water slides, a coral reef activity pool, adventure river, tanning deck, and more. Coco Key is open from 10-6 and admission ranges from $20 for adults to $15 for kids 12 and under. The address is 3321 S 72nd Street in Omaha.
