In the historic Branson MO, there are plenty of late night food places to choose from; however, the following are my go-to places for my late nights out on the town.
Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub – I visited Waxy’s about two years ago while on a girl’s night out. This little pub is located on the Branson Landing in Branson. You can choose to park in the parking garage and pay for parking, or you can park in free parking. If you choose the free parking, be prepared to walk a little far, because the Branson Landing is one of the most popular places in Branson to be during the day, as well as late at night. Waxy’s O’Shea’s has a little bit of everything on the menu: Burgers, sandwiches, soup, salads, fish, great appetizers, yummy desserts, and of course their drink menu is absolutely amazing. They are open 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday thru Saturday, and Sunday they are open 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the waitresses are always nice and accommodating. On Friday and Saturday nights they usually feature live bands, and if you choose to go on one of those nights, the music is very loud, so if that isn’t something that you will like, be sure to take a seat in the very back. Overall, Waxy O’Shea’s is very enjoyable, I go at least once a month and order a green drink or two, and some nacho’s and just have fun!
The Outback Steak and Oyster Bar – This restaurant is located right on Hwy 76, it has easy access, and good parking. The Outback has authentic Australian cuisine which includes: steaks, grilled snapper, lamb chops, grilled chicken and seafood, alligator tail, and great drinks. You can choose to dine inside or outside on the deck. The Outback has a great atmosphere, and I am always given an amazing waitress, or waiter. The Outback is not just a restaurant, right next to it there’s a pub which is a little small, but always features great music and fun. The Outback restaurant is open daily, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekends. The Outback Pub is open Monday to Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. You definitely will not be disappointed if you chose to visit either of these places while in Branson.
Joe’s Crab Shack – The very first time I visited Joe’s Crab Shack, I was hooked! It is located on the Branson Landing, and so just like Waxy O’Shea’s you can choose to pay for parking in the parking garage or you can park in the free parking. Also, just like the Outback you can choose to sit inside the restaurant or can sit outside look out at the beautiful Lake Taneycomo. The atmosphere of Joe’s is just plain fun! I don’t think I have ever had a bad time while dining here. The waitress and waiters dance every time a particular song comes on, and they all do it with a smile on their face. Their menu is of course packed with all kinds of seafood but also features steaks and chicken for those of you that don’t particularly like seafood. They are open 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday thru Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Give this place a try and you will not be very pleased!
Applebee’s – A lot of time, when I just want to go somewhere and relax for a bit and have a couple drinks and a appetizer, a friend and I go to Applebee’s. The atmosphere here is usually quiet and relaxed and no one bothers us. Applebee’s is located on Hwy 76 in Branson, and has easy access and a good sized parking lot that is very accommodating. Their eclectic menu includes everything from sandwiches, burgers, steak, chicken, seafood, and delicious desserts. They are open Sunday thru Thursday 11:00 to 11:00 and 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
So there is my top four late night food places in Branson, MO. Pick any of these four for you next night out on the town, and I promise you will certainly be immensely satisfied!
