WWE Legends’ House is one of the most successful shows on the WWE Network. The reality show features former wrestlers, managers, and announcers who live in one house in Palm Springs, California. WWE Legends’ House draws both older wrestling fans who grew up watching these stars and a younger generation that watches reality television. Given the show’s success, a second season of WWE Legends’ House is a virtual guarantee. Take a closer look at the top five legends who should appear on season 2 of WWE Legends’ House.
5. Dusty Rhodes
The main ingredient for success in pro wrestling is charisma. Although Dusty Rhodes doesn’t fit the modern image of a wrestler, being in shape is not a prerequisite to appear on WWE Legends’ House. If Rhodes could get over wearing polka dots 25 years ago, he would have no problem drawing viewers to season 2 of WWE Legends’ House.
4. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan is no stranger to the WWE or to reality television. His reality show Hogan Knows Best was a big hit for VH1 in the mid-2000s. Now that he is working for Vince McMahon again, WWE Legends’ House would be the perfect vehicle for Hogan to get airtime. No longer able to wrestle, Hogan needs projects like this in which to be involved.
3. Ric Flair
It’s no secret that Ric Flair was the life of the party for decades in wrestling. Although this lifestyle is no longer conducive for a 65-year-old former wrestler, in a controlled environment such as WWE Legends’ House, Flair would be extremely entertaining. I’d be going crazy the first time he delivered an elbow drop to the living room carpet.
2. Bob Backlund
There are conflicting reports as to whether or not Bob Backlund is really crazy or if that was just the character he portrayed in pro wrestling. I saw Backlund at WWE Raw the night after WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans and he appeared to be out of his mind. There’s no telling what Backlund might do on season 2 of WWE Legends’ House.
1. The Iron Sheik
The Iron Sheik has become somewhat of a cult hero in recent years. Although he is enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame, many wrestling fans today know The Iron Sheik for his many rants against other wrestlers and celebrities. Although he’d have heat with everyone else in the house, The Iron Sheik would be magic on WWE Legends’ House.
Other possibilities for season 2 of WWE Legends’ House
Steve Austin, The Brooklyn Brawler, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Jim Ross, Iron Mike Sharpe, Ron Simmons
