Some very good basketball players have played for Boston College.
Here is my list of the top five best basketball players of all time from Boston College:
Top Five Best Basketball Players from Boston College #5: Howard Eisley
The first basketball player on my list is Howard Eisley. Eisley played for Boston College from 1990 to 1994. After graduating from the college Eisley was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 1994 NBA Draft. He had an average professional basketball career, although he did play in the NBA from 1994 to 2006.
Top Five Best Basketball Players from Boston College #4: John Bagley
John Bagley, who played for Boston College from 1979 to 1982, had a good college career. While playing for the school, he gained respect as a point guard; moreover, he was named Big East Player of the Year in 1981. As for his professional basketball career, Bagley played from 1982 to 1993 for four teams, including the Boston Celtics.
Top Five Best Basketball Players from Boston College #3: Reggie Jackson
One player who could eventually be the best basketball player of all time from Boston College is Reggie Jackson. Jackson, who currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, played for Boston College from 2008 to 2011. He was a member of the First team All-ACC in 2011. Jackson is currently only 23-years-old, and could become an elite point guard in the future.
Top Five Best Basketball Players from Boston College #2: Michael Adams
The second to last basketball player on my list of the top five best basketball players from Boston College is Michael Adams. The former point guard played for the college from 1981 to 1985. Despite being selected in the third round, Adams had an above-average NBA career. In fact, he was an All-Star in 1992. Additionally, Adams had great career averages of 14.7 points per game, 6.4 assists per game, and 1.7 steals per game. During the 1990-91 NBA season, Adams averaged excellent numbers of 26.5 points per game and 10.5 assists per game.
Top Five Best Basketball Players from Boston College #1: Dana Barros
Dana Barros narrowly beats Adams on my list of the best Boston college basketball players of all time. Barros is number one for a few reasons including, like Adams, he was an All-Star during his professional career. I personally think that he was a better basketball player because he is one of the greatest 3-point shooters in the history of the NBA. He also had a better college career, as indicated by how he was selected in the first round of the 1989 NBA Draft.
