Wherever you live, breakfast is sure to brighten your day and set the right mood for your day. WheatField’s has been a Lawrence mainstay since the early 2000’s and is a bread lover’s dream come true. It is also known for its organic, gourmet and home cooked goodies that only true food lovers could inspire. They have an amazing variety of breads, eggs, desserts and pasties and all are made fresh hourly. One of our favorites is the Locarno Omelet made with local bacon, ham, roasted garlic, and Swiss with freshly grated hash browns and toast. Hmmm, are you hungry yet?
Global Café – 820 Massachusetts St
If you favor the vegetarian options, Global Café has many options to satisfy your palate. Their Kansas Grilled Vegetable Plate will leave your mouth wanting more and the South American grilled cornmeal cake is gluten free.
The Roost – 920 Massachusetts Street
The Roost is a family grown local spot that features delectable pastries and eggs cooked to order at a great price. The Breakfast Sammy and their Corned Beef and Hash will keep you coming back.
