About This Book:

Samantha Cash is the FBI’s secret weapon. Her methods are invisible, and she never stops until the case is closed. When missing teens begin turning up dead in a small Southern town, Samantha is
assigned to help local chief Connor Wolfe find the killer. And he has two problems with that. There’s her faith–in God and herself. And then there’s the fact that she looks exactly like his late wife. As they get close to an answer, the case becomes personal. The killer seems to be taking an interest in Connor’s 16-year-old daughter, who thinks her dad is getting way too protective. Can’t a girl just have some fun? Too Close to Home ratchets up the suspense with each page, and will have readers cheering for the characters they love as justice is served and love grows even in the face of danger. Read this one with the lights on!

Too Close To Home (Women of Justice Book#1) Book Review:
Congratulations to Lynette Eason for writing a wonderful story “Too Close To Home.” When I first saw this book, the title alone really caught my attention. I didn’t even realized this was a Christian book. Mrs. Eason really have created something phenomenal with the characters of homicide detective, Connor Wolfe and FBI Special Agent Samantha Cash. The introduction of this story started with Connor arriving at the crime scene of another dead body. The victim is a young teenage girl who was murdered with an unborn child. The plot of this story, there are a pattern of girls are missing for an extended period of time before they show up dead. Each murder are done differently but they all end up pregnant. There are plenty drama coming from both characters Connor and Samantha. Connor’s teenage daughter Jenna is having a hard times dealing with the passing of her mother. She is angry with her father because she thinks he doesn’t want to spend anytime with her. She doesn’t realized that her father is grieving as well. Samantha is dealing with her own tragedy. Her sister was attacked and left for dead. Samantha feel responsible for what has happen to her sister. Both Samantha and Connor together are dealing with their personal tragedy, working together to find the serial killers and they start to have feelings for each other. Their only problem is that the serial killers are too close for home.

I really enjoy this inspirational book from the beginning. I couldn’t put this book down because the story line was a great read that based on with mixtures of inspirations, mystery, love and terror all at the same time. Lynette Eason really created an excellent suspense novel with a Christian theme. The thriller of this story was really awesome. You had to read the book from the beginning to figure out who was the killer. All of the characters in “Too Close To Home” was created great by this author. There was so many marvelous breathtaking scenes. You definitely need to pay close attention to this drama. This book is fiction but this story does remind us of God’s unconditional love and we are in His safety in the midst of unspeakable evil in this world. Thank you Lynette for writing a wonderful story that are based on suspenseful, mysterious, clean and putting the focus on God at the same time. This is the first time that I find a book that have all of those qualities all in one. This book can be a great block buster movie. I am looking forward to reading the next book “Don’t Look Back” in the Women of Justice Series. You need to read this book for yourself you can understand why I love this book so much.
