Three Travel Essentials When Flying Delta

by yak max

Flying these days has become one of the best ways to travel for many. This is simply because it’s faster than driving to many destinations. In addition, with many business professionals traveling every day for work on planes it’s become one of the best ways to get around. However, with any form of travel the comfort factor is always a priority and when it comes to Delta the airline really tries to accommodate many requests. However, here are three travel essentials when hitting the airline skies with Delta.

Priority Boarding

Priority boarding on a Delta is a must when traveling this airline. This will give you two things, the best chance of getting your carry on luggage close to your seat in overhead bins and you will avoid those heavy lines boarding the plane.

Delta boards in zones and if you are anything after zone 1, the time spent waiting to get to your seat in a line can all be avoided for $10.00 on each flight. Priority boarding does come included when purchasing first class seats, but if not it can be added on to your flight when you go to purchase.

Flying should be an experience you want to have again, and this will make sure you start the flight off right.

Wi-Fi Pass

Now, if you are constantly bored on flights bringing a laptop or ipad is a great solution. The only problem with that is, how do you get internet? Delta offers two different options to solve that problem.

The Delta 24-Hour Pass is an option you can purchase directly on the Delta website and is available for $18.00. This is the best option if you have a stopover because you will not have to purchase the wi-fi twice and therefore saves you money.

Gogo Inflight is an alternative service that can be purchased not only for Delta flights but pretty much across the board when it comes to flying. On Gogo they offer different travel wi-fi options and even a 30 minute option for very reasonable prices.

Travel Pillow

Sitting in one seat for a long period of time is bound to get a little boring. A great solution is to just catch up on some sleep and take a nap. To make that sleep even just a little bit more comfortable a travel pillow is a great option.

The BioSense Neck Travel Pillow is great even if you happen to get that middle seat in your row, all you do is put it on, lean back and sleep. On the BioSense website it is currently ranked 4.3 stars out of 5, and overall it’s an affordable option to making airplane travel on Delta just a little bit better.
