With Easter almost here, here are some fun-filled bunny themed DIY crafts that you can do with your kids this Easter:
Paper plate Easter Bunny – This is a super simple craft and can be used to hang outside on the doors or windows. To start, take a white paper plate and apply glue on the inside. Take cotton balls and stick them on to the plate, forming the bunny’s face. Take a white construction paper and cut out two bunny ears. Take a pink construction paper and cut two smaller bunny ears so that you can glue them inside the white bunny ears. Glue the two ears on the back of the paper plate. Now to finish the face, take two large googly eyes and glue them over the cotton balls. Take two black pipe cleaners and glue them below the eyes to form the whiskers. Next, take a pink pipe cleaner and bend it in form of bunny’s mouth and glue it below the whiskers. Finally complete the bunny face by gluing a pink pompom over the whiskers. Your paper plate Easter bunny is ready. You can punch a hole between the ears, string a ribbon and hand it wherever you like.
Bunny Paper Chain – You can use the bunny paper chains to decorate the house or your dinner table or any way you like. Take any paper of your choice, construction or parchment or tissue paper. Fold it into accordion fold and trace the template on one end of the fold. You can either use the one bunny template or two bunnies’ template. Carefully cut the bunnies out and your paper chain is ready to use. Gently unfold and use as you like.
Bunny Pockets – If you use file folders to organize your clutter, here is a way to jazz it up for Easter. Cut out white and pink bunny ears out of construction papers and glue the pink ears inside the white ears. Just glue the ears to the back of the folder. Glue two googly eyes on the front. Use black twines to form the whiskers and bunny mouth and glue them below the eyes. Finish off with a white or pink pompom on the whiskers.
