With Easter almost upon us, you see all retail shops and local supermarkets stocked with Easter baskets wrapped and filled with goodies. But the problem is most of them are targeted to toddlers or pre-teens. Rarely do you see Easter baskets for teenagers. But that doesn’t mean teenagers shouldn’t get Easter baskets. If you are looking to make Easter baskets for your teenagers, here are some ideas:
Video Game Easter Basket – This is a no brainer. I haven’t come across a teenager who doesn’t like video games. The best part of this type of basket is that you can make it irrespective of the gender. To make this basket, take a basket of your choice. Now you can either choose a traditional straw woven basket or get one of those cloth baskets which can then double up as storage once Easter is done. Choose some of the latest video games that your teen would like, perhaps one or two. You can also get some game accessories that are latest in the market that would go alone with the video games. To fill up the basket with some sugar, get candies such as pop rocks, airheads, Fun Dip, personalized M&Ms, gummy bears and such. Add some colored straws and your basket is ready. Cover the whole thing with plastic wrap and complete it with a bow.
Miscellaneous Easter Basket – Alternatively, you can also make an Easter basket filled with miscellaneous things a teenager would like. Some ideas for gifts can be iTunes gift card, cell phone covers, gift card for their favorite stores, their favorite movie DVDs, iPod and its accessories, any accessories from their favorite movie or TV shows such as pencils or bags and many more. As always, fill the basket with sugar and wrap it up.
Themed Easter Baskets for Teen Girls – If you want to make Easter baskets for teen girls, one way to go is to make themed baskets such as spa or hair or nail or anything your teenager girl is into. These days, there are numerous nail arts that are stick on which the teenagers love to wear. You can make a basket with makeup materials such as lipstick, foundation, eye shadows. You can also include hair products and nail products and make the basket a beauty themed basket.
Remember, whatever you put in the Easter basket for your teen, think of gifts that are practical for them in addition to the regular goodies.
