Have a relaxing time
This unique little park truly captures the elegance and stunning beauty of Kariya Japan, Mississauga’s twin park partner. Relax and enjoy yourself here, open seven days a week, off of Burhamthorpe road west. Also, it is a great place for capturing photos.
This is Mississauga’s largest park, with long trails for walking or cycling, picnic areas, playgrounds and even a toboggan hill. The park is a part of the Credit River, which adds to the feeling of being at peace with nature.
Mississauga Garden Park
Find yourself browsing through acres of woodlands, meadows and vegetation. With the beautiful flowing river this park makes it really easy to relax. Find it south of the 403, North of Burnhamthorpe road west.
Many trails, picnic areas, play areas, splash areas and great views of the lake and the Toronto sky line. A great place to pass the time.
Interactive games, mini golf, go karts, simulations and an advanced hide & seek game. There is nothing you and your family won’t love about this place. This is a must visit for the kids and is located on Rathburn Road West.
Kids Paradise Playground
Clean, safe and well-kept. This friendly play space allows your children to run around and enjoy the many play activities. Be prepared to relax and enjoy a cup of free coffee while your kids have a blast. It is Located on Argentia Road.
Go Karts Mini Indy
Once you go here, you will come back again and again. This track promises hours of fun. The course can be challenging, but safety is always ensured here. The staff is very attentive. The track can be found off of Eglinton road at Centennial Park drive.
Take in the History
Located on Orr road, this house brings you back to the 1830s. It sits in the middle of a beautifully kept garden. The home contains original artifacts and has a gift shop. This is a fun place to go see and learn about the history of Mississauga.
Mississauga Heritage Foundation
Founded in 1960, the Heritage foundation proudly assists and educates members of its community on research of the city’s history. With newsletters, a resource library, exhibits and more, it’s easy to understand why this nonprofit charitable organization remains completely independent. Located on Dundas west between Erin Mills and Mississauga Road.
Benares Historic House
An absolute beautiful home, restored to show how it appeared in the 1830s, with 95 percent originally owned artifacts. Learn the history of Benares and be prepared to take a step back in time. Enjoy tea and a tour when in the Clarkson area.
Sports and Entertainment
A great place to watch a film you’ve meaning to go see. Located at Burnhamthorpe road east, this theater carries newly and previously released films and admission is less than surrounding theaters. Take advantage!

If you are looking to treat yourself to some shopping, why not visit square one mall? This is Ontario’s largest mall and upon arrival it’s easy to see that. You can find anything and everything here. From shopping to dining, square one has it all.
Air Combat Zone
One of the city’s best kept secrets, this simulation allows you to be in control of your own F/A-18 jet and experience firsthand what it takes to be a pilot of one of the fastest aircraft’s around.
Yuk Yuks Comedy Club
This is a great place to sit back and enjoy stand-up comedy. With alternating comics Yuk Yuk’s always puts on an enjoyable show for their audiences. Get ready to laugh until it hurts. The club is located on Dixie road.
This is one of Mississauga most talked about night clubs. Since 2003, this has been a great place to enjoy the night and dance away. With 10 bartenders you’re sure to always be taken care of.
My apartment is probably the liveliest club in the city. Highly regarded by clubbers from around the G.T.A, My Apartment provides a party type atmosphere and gives clubbers a great night every time. Find it on Brunel Road.
Throne Entertainment Venue
Throne really does give you a downtown environment in the heart of the city with great music and a safe atmosphere. The first upscale night club in the city is the place to go for a great night. Major intersection is Dixie and Steeles, by the 410.
