Entourage is a hit television show on HBO, running for eight seasons from 2004 to 2011. The series was created by Doug Ellin and starred Kevin Connolly as Eric, Adrian Grenier as Vince, Kevin Dillon as Drama, Jerry Ferrara as Turtle, and Jeremy Piven as Ari. The show also featured a number of popular actors and actresses, often times playing themselves on the show.
Here is my list of my top ten favorite episodes, in no particular order. Possible spoilers ahead!
The Script and the Sherpa (Season 1, Episode 5): Vince has been spending a lot of time with Fiona. Josh Weinstein gives Eric the script for Queens Blvd. The town is dry of weed. Fiona takes the gang to her sherpa in order to score some weed. Vince gets Wick weed in exchange for a part in Queens Blvd. Val Kilmer guest stars.
I Love You Too (Season 2, Episode 9): Vince tells the guys he has no feelings for Mandy Moore. Vince and the boys go to Comic-Con to promote Aquaman. Vince pisses off a popular blogger, played by Rainn Wilson. The boys go to a U2 concert, and Bono gives a birthday shout-out to Drama.
Aquamom (Season 3, Episode 1): Drama and Turtle give away passes for Aquaman to hot girls. Vince invites his mom to be his date to the Aquaman premiere, but she is worried about travelling. Drama and Turtle snag two of James Woods’ premiere tickets. Vince’s mom finally comes to LA, along with Eric and Turtle’s mom.
One Day in the Valley (Season 3, Episode 2): The boys are hoping that Aquaman projects more money than Spiderman. The gang goes into the Valley, where a series of blackouts occur, and threaten to crush Vince’s movie numbers. A couple fans invite the guys to a high school party, where Vince has his Almost Famous moment on top of the roof. In the end, the blackouts actually help Aquaman beat Spiderman, and the boys celebrate.
The Resurrection (Season 3B, Episode 18): Vince and Eric fight for Medellin, but can’t do the movie without doing Matahorn first, so they decide to buy the script. Turtle flirts with an auto-shop girl. Drama is upset about bad reviews on Five Towns, so he drives to the Grand Canyon; the next day, he finds out the show is a hit.
Tree Trippers (Season 5, Episode 5): Vince can’t decide whether or not to do Benji, so the boys, along with Ari and Eric Roberts, decide to go to Joshua Tree and take shrooms. Lloyd has a party at Ari’s house. While tripping the boys lose Arnold, Ari loses the boys, and Eric goes mute. Lloyd helps Ari through his trip. Vince decides he doesn’t want to do Benji but still wants to do Smoke Jumpers.
Gotta Look Up to Get Down (Season 5, Episode 7): Ari does business at Alan’s funeral. Vince does a photo shoot, but the model he’s supposed to shoot with gets fired cause the man in charge is jealous. At the same time, Ari boards a plane to Switzerland in hopes of getting a studio head position, and Vince and the boys head to Hawaii with some models. Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees” plays as the credits role.
Give a Little Bit (Season 6, Episode 12): Drama’s still on strike from the acting business. Ari wants to buy the company to get back at Terrence. Matt Damon wants Vince to get involved with a charity project. Eric takes Sloan out to a special lunch. Turtle can’t get over Jamie, so he gets on a plane to see her, when she calls him and tells him not to come. After some complications, Ari makes a deal with Terrence in exchange for running his company. Sloan gets pissed when Eric tries to renew their relationship, until Eric proposes. Ari takes a paintball gun to Lloyd’s office and insultingly offers him his job back; later Lloyd accepts. Sloan and Eric get engaged. Vince and Drama (along with Turtle meeting them) go to Italy.
Lose Yourself (Season 7, Episode 10): The boys search for Vince, who shows up at Sasha’s photo shoot. Ari plans a surprise party for his wife, even though his marriage is on the rocks. The gang stages an intervention for Vince, but it doesn’t go well. Terrence tells Eric he wants a prenup. Vince crashes Eminem’s party and gets into a fight, goes to the hospital, and gets caught with cocaine.
The End (Season 8, Episode 8): Vince tells the guys he’s getting married, and they tell him Sloan’s pregnant. Ari and his wife plan on telling their kids that they’re getting a divorce. The boys try and get Sloan to come to Paris for Vince’s wedding. Ari and his wife make up and move to Florence. Sloan shows up at the airport, and she and Eric go to New York. John calls Ari and asks him to be the CEO of his company. Led Zeppelin’s “Going to California” plays at the end.
