Being a writer, I am always in my head and so is everything I do and experience. I have encountered a phenomenon since I started publicly sharing my writing. Everything is something I can write about and has opened the world to my artistic outlet. I have found my voice.
Family and Friends are My Characters
Face it, if you have shared a drama, physical ailment or embarrassing story it may end up in my writing.
My love, scolding, respect and disdain shall reappear in my stories.
When I take a vacation picture or out on the town fun picture you can count on it appearing as a photo on one of my articles.
You, my family and friends, are my muses and inspire me.
My Life is an Open Book
My experiences whether good or bad will end up in my writing. My husband, kids and pets are unwilling participants in my ongoing story article by article.
Some people gossip, fight, exercise, drink or find some outlet for their daily stress, I write.
Supporting the Arts
You give to the art museum, go to concerts, and watch movies. Why not read a writer’s work and share it with others to support them?
Go to a poetry reading or book signing.
Share your favorite pieces from a writer with others, in conversation, on social media or anyway that you feel people may be interested.
Writing is expression and supporting writers keeps language flowing and growing.
Read and enjoy the writers you love.
If we do not read, listen, watch, share and communicate we stop being humane and humanity is what makes each of us unique and keeps humanity flowing.
Writers are hardworking, self-employed people and we strive to find material, make money, and to find understanding. What most people keep in their heads and thoughts, we will burst if we cannot write about. The trick to writing is expressing our thoughts into some logical way on paper. Many times, we write for businesses that pay us to write about their business in a way that reflects positively on them. Other times writers write about something to inform others. The majority of the time we get an idea, research it and write what we have learned so you can read and learn from our findings. Writers are the informers, finders of words to express feelings, the inspirers and the voice of their readers.
