When I was growing up, my mom used to tell me that if I had a problem, I needed to put it in God’s hands and he would do the rest. At that moment, I really didn’t understand what that meant. As an adult, I realized very quickly the importance of having God in my life, and I made the decisions of opening my heart to him. I have to say that it has been the most important decision I have made in my entire life. Honestly, I am not the most religious person on earth, but one thing I do know is that everything is possible in the name of God.
I have been through many life-changing experiences. Experiences that, in one way or another, shaped me into the woman I am today. Some of them were not good experiences, but every time I felt like nothing could be done, I elevated a prayer to the only person I knew could help me in those unfortunate moments. The only one I knew that without any judgments or recriminations would guide me with his unconditional love toward the path I needed to take. I have to admit that, with his infinite power and divine support, I was able to get through those terrible times, and to continue with my life the way I had always wanted to.
Was it easy? No, it wasn’t? Was it less painful? Yes, it was. At that time, I knew I had one of the best coaches in my corner, and that made a very big difference in my life. By my side, I had a big spiritual force whose main purpose was to guide me in the right direction and to never allow me to feel alone during those challenging days of my life. His presence was there with me during the whole ordeal and his arms were holding me the entire time. And that person, my friends, was and still is…God.
If like me, you are in a stage of your life where you think nothing is going the way you have planned, or the experiences you are facing are almost to the point of breaking you apart; I invite you to discover the power of prayers. Just put your problems to the side for a while and talk to God. I promise you that he not only will listen to you but also will guide you in the direction he thinks is the most appropriate for you. Once you talk to him; just stand back, have faith, and allow him to do his magic.
Give it a try! Put all your problems in his hands and trust me; he will not disappoint you. The truth is that there are not big problems for him, and prayers, my friends, do move mountains. I can promise you that because I am a living example of it!
If you still have your doubts about the power of prayers and the effect this spiritual approach to problem solving could have in your life, remember; “any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden.” ~ Corrie Ten Boom ~
