The future is uncertain. We never know just who or what will change in the coming years. In the case of WWE, it is often difficult to predict who will still be around a few years from now. We can guess due to who they’re building up but we never truly know. Few en in the current WWE product seem to be in the plans for the future of the business. Who will be a future WWE World Heavyweight Champion?
Roman Reigns is wrestling royalty. Having been born into the Anoa’i wrestling family, it seemed certain that Reigns would come to WWE sooner or later. He’s impressed the fans with his brutality and mean appearance. He seems to be legitimately tougher than nails. His spear finishing move looks incredible. You’d truly believe this guy could take his opponents head off. He’s become a crowd favorite due to his work with The Shield but now that the group has dissolved, it will be interesting to see where the character goes from here.
Another former member of The Shield seems to have big plans for the future. Dean Ambrose rose to fame in wrestling on the indy scene and made the jump to WWE much to the liking of fans. He’s been built up to be a menacing madman with a brawler style. He’s not to be taken lightly. Dean may very well be a monster babyface by the end of his build.
Seth Rollins, the third and final member of The Shield, was the reason for the group’s separation. He aligned himself with The Authority and seems to be being built up as a top heel. His in-ring ability is truly remarkable. He’s rather agile and his moves are innovative. Rollins seems bound for the WWE championship in years to come.
Cody Rhodes has recently been slapped with a terrible gimmick to match his brother’s Goldust character. The problem is, Goldust is unique and should not be replicated. The gimmick is hopefully only temporary but shows that WWE wants Cody to keep the fans interested. Time will only tell but we all know Cody’s in-ring work speaks for itself and he may soon become WWE Champion.
Bray Wyatt is one of the first truly interesting characters to have developed in WWE in recent years. He appears to be a madman and the sadistic leader of The Wyatt Family. Wyatt may very well become The Undertaker of his time. I feel it is only a matter of months before we see Wyatt stand tall as a heel champion.
These men are still fairly young and definitely hungry for more. Nothing is for sure in the WWE but it seems these men are destined for greatness in the company. The coming months will shed more light on each of these men and as a fan, I cannot wait to see what happens to each of them.
