Flight MH370 has been missing for almost a month now and one thing has been nagging at me about it. I listen to all the talk about finding the debris field and from there ‘reverse engineering where the plane went down. I have wondered why it has not been discussed in another way. Consider this:
- · In the area that the plane was known to be flying there are satellites from almost every country monitoring their enemies’ movements.
- · These satellites are trained on this area and continually sending feed to someone.
- · A 777 is large enough that it would be visible by these satellites when in those areas without an ‘electronic handshake’
That being said if that satellite feed from when we know the location of the plane is watched from takeoff to last actual voice communication we should be able to then follow it until it is no longer seen or is seen to be going down.
By using this information it would seem we could have already found the missing plane. Ok I know none of these countries are going to give away how good their satellite tech is but they have been putting out images of ‘possible debris’ all along. This tracking would be no more detailed. All you do is look at the feed and tell others what track you saw the plane traveling. Each country gives out a report and see how many come up the same path. You do not even have to put out the pictures, just report what you saw. I doubt that satellites are a secret as to where they are located because they are not invisible.
It would seem that even the poorest of satellite can see well enough to see a huge plane flying at altitudes that are not on the ground. Does it make sense to anyone else that we are looking as Ocean Garbage but not at where the plane was when it was in the air in an area where everyone is watching for trouble?
