Everyone loves to go out on romantic dates. Most of us love the glamor that comes with some of the most romantic settings. If you’re rich and can afford it, you’ll obviously have no problem splurging and spoiling the one you love. When you stop to think about it, money can’t buy love, and therefore, while a lot of expensive dates/gifts are fun to exchange, not everyone has that option. If you want to go out on some romantic dates but are short on cash, here are couple of ideas for you that make some of the best dates.
This may seem boring to some, but going on a picnic somewhere where it’s quiet can give you plenty of time to focus on each other. This is especially good when you’re dating someone new and you want to get to know them more. You can enjoy good food, and good conversation at the same time. Make the choice to picnic somewhere comfortable like at a park, on the beach (listening to the waves will put anyone in a good mood) or even your backyard if it’s big enough. If you choose a park, try going to one that’s near a small lake. If that’s not an option, a regular park will do, just as long as they have an area for you to sit in the shade or under a tree somewhere.
Private Romantic Dinner:
Naturally, a great date can be had right at home. You can surprise your man or your lady with a meal that you’ve cooked yourself. You can play some soft romantic music, and light some candles. That never fails and it just screams romance. You don’t even have to cook by yourself. Take it up a notch and cook a romantic meal together. Hey, why not? It’s fun cooking with the one you love. Starting and ending the date together will definitely make for a happy ending.
A Day at the Beach:
There’s so much more you can do on the beach than have picnics. Simply hanging out with each other by the water is a great way to have fun together and relax at the same time. Go swimming together in the ocean, eat together at the concession stand (if your beach has one), and you can lay back on the sand and get a little sunshine (but not too much). I’ve always loved this kind of date, and I could hardly wait until the weather was nice enough to go. So give this a try.
Get out of the house for awhile and simply take a drive. You can do this during the day or in the early evening, but I always thought it was best to wait until nightfall. The air is cooler and going for a nice long drive can help both of you ease away the stress of the work day. You can stop at a cheap restaurant and pick up some food on the way and stop off somewhere by the water or in a park to each and talk, or you can prepare your food in advance, as if you were going on a picnic, if you know about the drive ahead of time. You can consider this a small road trip and can get in a little sightseeing on the way.
You don’t have to spend loads of money to have romance. There are plenty of creative ways you can get romantic while keeping what little money you have left in your pocket. There are loads of ideas to choose from if you’re creative enough. Give these a try. You won’t regret it.
