When people talk about their favorite cities in the United States, the same cities are mentioned most often because they are the most popular. New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas, and the list goes on. However, there are plenty of other great cities in the U.S. with a lot to offer both visitors and residents.
Home to the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore, Maryland, is famous for its blue crabs seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. Because of the thousands of college students which flood the area, there is a lot of nightlife to enjoy in neighborhoods such as Oakland and the Strip District. There are also bars and clubs suitable for young professionals who want a more subtle scene away from the college crowd.
Many people have never heard of Park City, Utah, but those with an appreciation for film have. Each year more than 50,000 people attend the Sundance Film Festival held in Park City, and the film festival is just as much about the partying as it is about the movies. Because of the thousands of famous visitors to Park City, the trendy town is a great place to find boutiques and small restaurants. With warm summers and snowy winters, Park City, Utah is a great place to visit for those looking for some fun. You never know which celebrity you might see.
Although it may be famous primarily because it is home to the Kentucky Derby, Louisville has a lot to offer visitors. Above all else this city has plenty of small town charm. It is warm and inviting with a diverse art scene primarily due to the Kentucky Center for the Arts. Louisville also has a trendy riverfront district as well as a growing food market with its own Restaurant Row- a collection of restaurants, shops, and bars. Sports fans will appreciate the Louisville Slugger Museum, and history lovers will enjoy being able to sip mint juleps on a river cruise aboard the Belle of Louisville, a National Historic Landmark. Louisville has something for everyone which is what makes the city so unique.
