Here are the best five PlayStation 4 games that are out now or will be coming out this year, I recommend to purchase some of these games immediately if you haven’t played these awesome games yet. I guarantee these will be in anyone’s top 5 ps4 games by the end of the year.
1) Killzone: Shadow Fall
Killzone: Shadow Fall is a superb demonstration of the abilities of the ps4’s graphical and computer processing units when compared to the old generation seven consoles. Simply put if you want to see a jaw dropping gorgeous, than this game delivers. This game is one of, if not, the best looking launch games of the next generation of consoles. The game also sports a good level design and really takes a step forward with it’s open level approach compared to previous game in the franchise; however the overall decision from critics is the fact that whilst the game looks beautiful and shows the potential of PlayStation Four’s graphical capabilities, the designers of the game (Guerilla Games) failed to fully utilize Killzone: Shadow Fall’s potential to make the game play more fun and innovative.
2) Infamous: Second Son
This is the next installment in the inFamous franchise, in previous games the protagonist was Cole Macgrath, however in second son the game follows A hero (or anti-hero depending on which side you choose), Delsin Rowe (and without spoiling the game for you) as he acquires superpowers, after he wakes up from an attack. This guy rapidly understands he now possesses very amazing capabilities. Throughout the game, you are able to upgrade Delsin’s abilites many times. Even though this game is very story driven, and has well rounded out gameplay, It is quite possibly the best looking open-world game of the generation so far, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of this game.
3) Watch Dogs
Watch Dogs is another game that is set to deliver an amazing open world experience, with new features never seen before in any game. This game is all about using the power of technology within the city of Chicago as a firearm from hacking into anything you please and I mean anything cell phones, traffic bulbs, bridges, trains, cars you name it. Watch Dogs also consists of seventy or so weapons and fifty cars to choose from. Just watch the game trailers see what I’m talking about.
4) Call of Duty: Ghosts
The amount of COD games being released is really something isn’t it? It seems like every month or so a new call of duty game comes out. The games are almost always in the top 5 selling games and the franchise continues to pull in millions and millions of dollars with each iteration. Regardless COD games are still extremely fun to play. If you haven’t purchased this game on your ps3 or xbox 360 than I encourage you to buy this for the PlayStation 4, the graphics and resolution of this game show a significant improvement over the previous generations of consoles. The game runs at a crystal clear 1080p and 60 fps so keep that in mind if your still on the fence of purchasing the game. Call of Duty: Ghosts sticks to the tried and true method that made the call of duty franchise so popular today.
5) Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
The newest installment to MGS franchise; MGS: GZ’s offers new approaches to play then previous games in the franchise, in addition to being able to sneak and do missions of your choosing, the game offers you a variety of ways to play through missions. Now you don’t have to play-through the entire story in sequence, This MGS has the potential to become a game that many veteran Metal Gear Solid Fans would enjoy. You can different types of vehicles to move from different locations.
As you can see these games are just a few that already show the potential of the PS4, and there will be more in the years to come.
