First time or Fortieth time car buyers should know the truth! Although a blind man could even see through these lies… Car Dealerships are the W O R S T Crooks when Tax-Season rolls around and here’s why: For some idiotic reason, these deranged people believe that putting a car with multiple problems and extraordinarily high miles on the lot for an outrageous amount of money, will attract customers. A motor that’s dying, transmission that’s failing, cracks-cuts-scratches & more? You honestly don’t want to get me started on the miles that some of these cars obtain.
It’s a dirty thing to sell a desperate family a car that will barely make it off the lot. Why are they doing this, might you ask? Only and purely because they can, and they know that cornering a man, or woman, in their weakest moments will only benefit themselves. I’ll be a little inquisitive and ask you: ‘what if’
What if you were the head of your family and you were stuck with no way to work, knowing that’s your only way to survive? What if you’ve been slowly, but ever-so noticeably, failing at life and Tax-Season was your only hope of making it another year? What if you find a car at a lot for a price that will just have to work, because you really have no other options? You’ll take the car, and happily fork over the money. You’ll breath a sigh of relief. A week, two weeks, a month, possibly a few will pass and what will happen? Your car will break down and so will you. You’ll be exactly where you were in December: scared.
Keeping all of this in mind, now it’s the middle of June. Your Mother-In-Law “loaned” you her most precious car, for safe keeping! Now, you know what that means, “loaned.” Your name, and wife’s ( Or Husbands name) was added to the insurance card, and your pride had been swallowed. You’re so angry at the way that man at that dealership did you and your family. You promise yourself more than anything, that this next Tax-Season you won’t be duped again, mark your words! How will you know? Spending a whole half a year preparing yourself for another chance, but you don’t know if you’ll be duped or not. You find yourself so scared, angry, and suddenly sad.
Writing this article isn’t going to keep anyone from buying bad cars, selling bad cars, or make people care that this goes on, but for all of you out there reading: This really does happen to thousands and THOUSANDS of families every year. Some low-life with no heart sells a family with no money a car with no future. Every day this month, someone out there has bought a piece-of-you-know-what car and they may not even know it yet!
That person could have been your friend, or your neighbor. The person who could have bought that faulty car could have been your cousin or your aunt. The car that will never make it to see next year could have been bought by your mom or even by yourself. Think about it, Did you just go spend the vast majority of your very own Tax Return Check on a car? Maybe from a person that seemed a little sketchy? Or even from your local car Dealership? Will you be finding yourself in the very same position in about 6 months or less? You really never know…
