The SWOT Analysis measures the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of the companies. In this article I am going to analyze three new talents that are competing for the top of the ladder in the WWE. When I refer to new talent, I am talking about superstars that only have two years or less in the WWE regular roster, no counting NXT. The superstars I am going to analyze are: Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and Roman Reigns.
Strengths: He is excellent in the microphone. He gives some of the best promos of all time. He is a great villain and plays his gimmick perfectly.
Weaknesses: He have lost so many times against John Cena that he have lose his wrestling credibility. He is not an extraordinary wrestler.
Opportunities: He has the opportunity to keep climbing the ladder if he beats John Cena clean at Payback. He could evolve into a monster heel if he accomplishes that.
Threats: Bray Wyatt could not afford another loss, because if he loses against John Cena at Payback he could be trapped in the midcard for a long time.
Strengths: He is an excellent wrestler. He is strong and is the King of the Swing. The WWE Universe is chanting for him and he has Paul Heyman as a manager.
Weaknesses: He has no microphone skills, has a horrible theme song and was a jobber with Jack Swagger in almost the entire 2013.
Opportunities: With Paul Heyman as his manager, Cesaro has the opportunity to reach the top and wrestle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Threats: If Paul Heyman keeps putting Brock Lesnar in a pedestal, then Cesaro will appear weak and could have the same case as Curtis Axel and Ryback that were Paul Heyman clients. Also if he keep feuding with Rob Van Dam, is credibility as a top contender will suffer.
Strengths: He is powerful, dynamic, fitted, and the WWE Universe is cheering a lot for him.
Weaknesses: He has poor microphone skills.
Opportunities: If Roman Reigns defeat Triple H, then he will climb the ladder of the WWE and would be a top contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Threats: If Triple H defeats him or he doesn’t improve his microphone skills then he could be another powerful wrestler that gets trapped in the midcard division forever.
In conclusion, all the three superstars I mentioned have the potential to be top dogs in the future. Of the three superstars I mentioned, Roman Reigns have the biggest potential to be a top contender. He is tall, athletic, and powerful and he is linked in the most interesting storyline in the WWE right now (The Shield vs Evolution). He is also for the prestigious wrestling family (The Samoans). If he keeps his momentum, improve his weaknesses and seize the opportunities then he will be WWE top attraction for 2015 and the years to come.
