Ever since I turned 50 I have started sweating more whenever I exert myself or the weather turns hot. I thought I was stuck with it until I found SweatBlock. I have to apply it less than once a week and it totally stops my sweating with no side effects.
The deodorant comes in a moist towelette that is individually wrapped. Each box contains 8 packets. One application is designed to last about one week. The packets have a small towelette with a clear liquid that smells a little like cloves. There is plenty on the towelette for one application.
What kind of Sweating does it control?: The product is supposed to be used under the arms, but in reading online reviews I found that people use it for all other types of sweating. The company that makes the product says they only honor their money back guarantee when used under the arms.
Active ingredient: 14% aluminum chloride hexahydrate

Application: To apply you have to first wash and completely dry the area. It is suggested that you apply it at night because it needs to stay there for 6 hrs when you are not sweating. It states on the package to dab it on clean dry skin and do not rub because rubbing might cause irritation. There is plenty of liquid on the towelette to dab it on. After you apply it you are supposed to expose it to the air for it to dry, then just leave it there overnight.
In the morning you should completely wash it off in the shower and then dry the area completely. You can still wear deodorant. The product is designed to be used once a week but your experience may vary.
I do not have a big issues with underarm sweating but purchased SweatBlock for sweating on my thighs. I was having so much sweating that it was embarrassing and uncomfortable and was causing me to have a lot of irritation. In the summer I do a lot of gardening it it was preventing me from enjoying my favorite hobby of the year. I read about someone else using it for the same type of sweating so I figured I would give it a try.
I have real sensitive skin and was afraid to try it at first but I had no problems with irritation. I am very careful when I apply it to not get it in more sensitive areas. When I open the packet it smells like cloves and the liquid feels a little sticky and takes awhile to dry.
I have not had any irritation at all from using this and it works like a miracle. It totally stopped the sweating and I can even work hard outside all day and not have any problems with sweating.
How often I need to reapply
I find that SweatBlock works for about 10 days before needing to reapply. This exceeded the package information so I was really happy with the results. I feel that sweating is sort of a natural process so I really do not want to overdo stopping it everywhere. I wait until the sweating becomes a problem again before reapplying and some times it seems to work longer than others.
