Boss battles are valuable in the Facebook game Marvel: Avengers Alliance, because they can potentially drop command points and top tier agent gear. Chapter 11 is the second to last chapter of season 1. Surprisingly, most of the boss battles in this chapter are very easy. It is basically the calm before the storm of chapter 12, which will test you to the limits. The following guide will help you navigate the boss battles in season 1 chapter 11 of Marvel: Avengers Alliance.
Mission 1 – Juggernaut / Avalanche – Required: Cyclops – Recommended: Human Torch – If you have a weapon in your inventory that applies off-balance, this is a good fight to use it in. It will save protect you from a moderate amount of damage due to Avalanche giving his entire wave a counterattack. If not, just bring along a little extra healing. Take out Avalanche first and then mop up the minions. This should be easy as long as you don’t have an infiltrator on your team. In the second wave, have Cyclops hit Juggernaut with Optic Blast and then let Human Torch go to town on him. His damage is exceptional and he is immune to one of Juggernauts attacks. Overall, this is one of the easier boss battles.
Mission 2 – Toad / Prime Sentinel – Required: Daredevil – Recommended: Shadowcat (Scrapper) – Prime Sentinels aren’t particularly threatening and Toad’s biggest threat is his counterattacks. Daredevil can make all of his attacks stealthy, which negates that threat completely. There isn’t any meaningful danger to this battle. Just make sure that Radar Sense is ready to be used when the second wave of the battle begins and you should have absolutely no problem taking out Toad during that wave. This battle is almost so easy that you could bring a hero like Luke Cage or She-Hulk to it.
Mission 3 – Mystique / Omega Sentinel – Required: Nightcrawler – Recommended: Horseman of War (Scrapper) – Omega Sentinel is the biggest threat in this boss battle. She has multiple team buffs which really prolong the fight. If you were allowed to use her, Omega Sentinel would be the best counter to her, but you can’t. Horseman of War works rather well, too, because she can prevent Omega Sentinel from using buffs. After you have done that, taking out Mystique is rather easy, even if she is all but immune to critical hits from Horseman of War. If you can’t negate Omega Sentinel outright, bring Black Widow and remove buffs from whichever enemy you are focusing on each round. It is slower, but still pretty effective.
Mission 3 Epic -Baron Zemo – Required: Nightcrawler – Recommended: Spiral – Baron Zemo isn’t that dangerous, but he can prolong fights by healing himself and preventing counterattacks. Spiral can prevent that by using Flashbolt every round. If you don’t have Spiral, just pick an infiltrator that has a ranged attack or who has a stealthy melee attack. Zemo appears in two of the three waves, but he is pretty much the only real challenge in this battle. Take him out and the rest of the fight is no problem.
Mission 4 – Blob / The Hood – Required: Kitty Pryde – Recommended: Any blaster or scrapper – As far as boss battles go, this one is pitifully easy for a chapter 11 battle. You will want a blaster to deal with Blob and a scrapper to deal with The Hood. If you have the scrapper variant of Kitty Pryde then you should make your agent a second blaster. There is almost no strategy to this battle. Prioritize attacking Blob and The Hood unless they are the counter class of your current active character. You probably won’t even have to use healing items. This fight is really that easy.
Mission 5 – Mystique / Constrictor / Sabretooth – Required: Magneto – Recommended: Ares – Sabretooth is the biggest nuisance of this fight because he regenerates and applies bleeding. Ares can deal with regeneration and make him susceptible to bleeding damage himself. It is a very good combo that also happens to stop Mystique’s healing. Magneto is a solid team up if for no other reason than Magnetic Field. Try to avoid attacking Mystique with him, but otherwise just magnetize everyone and use Magnetic Field whenever it is available. This is another surprisingly easy chapter 11 boss battle.
Mission 6 – Red Skull / Baron Zemo / Viper – Required: Captain America – Recommended: Elektra – There is one infiltrator in every wave, so if you have an alternate version of Captain America, use him. If not, put a protection item on your agent and put your agent in a scrapper outfit. You fight one boss in each wave plus two additional minions. Viper isn’t too tough except that she will almost certainly stun your entire team for a round. Heal up afterwards and finish her off. Zemo is the reason you want Elektra, though Nightcrawler would also work. He counterattacks a lot, but Elektra has all stealthy attacks and applies internal bleeding to make him suffer when he does counterattack. Red Skull is probably the easiest part of this battle, because you have had time to buff your heroes. Take out the minions first and then deal with him at your leisure.
