Today we wanted to share a little gem of a place on Lake Beauclair called Trimble Park. We use this park as a place to put in when we want to motor around Lake Dora and beyond. The boat ramp closes at dark but is surrounded by a beautiful park, clean restrooms and plenty of trailer parking.
The park includes a campground for camper and tent camping. Here’s what’s included at each campsite: Picnic table Fire ring with grill (Chairs, too) Separate grill Water and Electricity Campsites are centered around clean restrooms with hot showers. Sites are for one family up to six people. Two sleeping units are permitted per site. (Two tents or Camper and tent) Most all sites have a view of a lake either Lake Beauclair or Lake Carlton.
The cost is minimal; $18.00 per night or $13.50 (Seniors 55+) (Orange County Residents) $23.00 per night or $17.50 (Seniors 55+) (Non-Resident of Orange County) The park offers much more nature trails, playgrounds and docks for fishing. They have group camping rates and pavilions for rent too. No swimming is permitted at the park.
If you’d like to find out more about Trimble Park, book a site or go out and enjoy a day of boating or pinicing you can go to www.OrangeCountyParks.net. This park would be a wonderful weekend stay for a boating family to camp and boat the Harris chains. We look forward to sharing many more places to stay by the water. A weekend stay by the water is a great way to experience your own adventure in boating. See you on the lake OR at the campsite!
