St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the North Valley always draw the usual crowds to the downtown area for green beer, it’s a tradition in Chico, and not really in the “partying” sense. It’s more of a celebration of the beginning of Spring and the opening of blossoms in the almond and walnut orchards.
And, the North Valley offers so much more than that outdated 1980’s “party” reputation.
