There was a time when whole world was suggesting about Indo-Pak to emerge as strongest in south Asia, economically as well strategically. There is a time that whole world is still watching towards this part even more closely now- but not positively but rightly as one of the most vulnerable region to nuclear danger, and surprisingly no one is Asia could deny the fact.
It’s almost heart-attacking for a peaceful citizen of the world to imagine the hard-struck nuclear enemies living in the same box and far as just of walking distances. As the first sun of 2014 mumbled upon this part -it defiantly rose up with the more dangers coming ahead. Indicating the changes of governments in three countries, while fourth and paramount was still fighting for its existence- harder than ever. YES.its Ind-Bang-Afghan elections and Pakistan. While the biggest tiger of the area-China-was in making-or-breaking condition due to nuclear winter. It’s a bitter reality that South Asia couldn’t be peaceful unless Indo-Pak comes to good terms. Afghanistan is a horse being controlled by Pakistan and India intermediately. Nothing has been done for real peace between Asian giants. There are hundreds of thousands of questions yet to be answered by respective authorities, though questions are easy yet answers and hard, but we believe these answers hold the KEY to peace. The largest democracy of the world, yet no minority member has ever been able to emerge as mainstream political leader. Though economy is somewhat stable for India, but what’d be the future of India and South Asia after the most probable Prime-minister ship of Hindu-extremist Narindara Modi?
Would the duo of Pak-China be considering it threat? How would be the relationships between Indo-Pak, when media is highlighting Narindara Modi more than Nawaz Sharif these days? Would the minorities are considering them safe after culprit of Gujarat massacre would be there to rule them? Would South Asia be the same after BJP’s “YES” to first-use-nuclear policy? Is first step to love India is to hate Pakistan? And frankly vice-versa. On a lighter note would Indian Cricket team visit Pakistan in next 5 years?
It’s like that most impacted people of 9/11 are Pakistanis and not anyone else. The situation is at the point when every Pakistani feels the guilt of being culprit of everything without even knowing anything, in somewhat corner of the heart. Pakistanis are getting hits from every-where; either it is drone or some suicidal attack from some radical Islamic group- If situation goes the same for some more time- I fear they’d proud to hide their identities. I FEAR literally. On the other hand energy crisis here are one of the worst in human history- I BET literally.
Yet there are some questions we believe are important than a Pakistani’s life, if you mind it to answer them SIR? what would be consequence of talks between Talibans and federal government, when there are rumors that Army and Federal government’s relationships are once again at the end of road? What if Talibans come to mainstream, would they let Pakistanis to live? lols- would I be able to hear the news that Pakistan has overcame the problem of energy crisis in my lifetime? What would be the relationships between Indo-Pak-US? What KSA is exactly doing in PM house? Strategy towards Afghanistan after withdrawal of forces? Is US going to repeat history? Would the WEST ever be able to treat these people more than just terrorists? On a lighter but a serious note, would an engineer ever be able to get some respectable job?
it’s been long 5000 years history of Afghanistan that no one is ever be able to conquer Afghanistan in real sense, It doesn’t matter who the invader was or be. But there is also one bitter reality that Afghanis were never be able to protect themselves and has always been unable to build an infrastructure for their security, education and sovereignty-that is the main reason for area’s current situation.YES.
The burning arrow- What would be the situation of Afghanistan after 2014? would withdrawal of forces strengthen the third element or not? Would they be able to protect themselves or would look at Pak/Ind? Should they be able to choose India or Pakistan vocally? Relationship between trio Ind-Pak-Afghan? Relationship between Afghan-US? Role of Pakistan in Afghanistan? Role of Talibans?
Though they seem some individual questions with respect to each country, but on the larger scale these all are interconnected to each other more than anything else. The reality has been very harsh to this trio- they all have been controlled by some other forces outside the region at different-or-same time. Main motive was to keep the supremacy in the region. But yet these nations are to be blamed more than anyone else. All are without independence since their independence. DOLLARS are what the true ruler is.
the question is WOULD the region ever be able to come out from the limbo? I am unable to answer, would you mind to say something SIR?
