Memorial Day has become more about the barbecues then anything. What are the best grills you need to buy for throwing a great Memorial Day barbeque?
Let’s find out what they are by starting with grills:
1. Char-Broil Tabletop Gas Grill
For those who are going to be grilling for a small number of people, this small table top grill for just under $30 will do the trick. We have one and use it along with the regular charcoal grill for fixing the grilled side dishes like corn on the cob, potatoes in foil with seasonings, and a few other grilled veggies.
They can be found at WalMart, Target, and Lowe’s. Prices will vary from store-to-store especially with Memorial Day Weekend sales. While you’re at any of these places getting your grill, pick up a two pack of Colemen Propane canisters to help get the party under way. The propane canisters are the same ones used on many Coleman lanterns.
2. BBQ Pro 4- Burner Gas Grill With Stainless Steel Lid
A table top grill not quite large enough for your party? How about this four burner gas grill with a side burner for a pot of veggies? I know several people who use this type of grill to barbecue for their immediate families of about 10-15 people. They work great for a group of this size. You can bypass the burgers and dogs and step up to grilling chicken instead. It can be purchased for under $200 on sale at Sears.
While this can be found at Sears, be sure to check around for prices before ordering online so you can drive up and pickup free at the store. Some assembly will be required before using though.
3. Char-Broil True Infrared 3-Burner or 6-Burner Gas Grill
If the 4-burner above doesn’t suit your needs either, maybe the 3-burner or 6-burner Char-broil gas grills will suit your grilling needs. Right now both of these grills can be found at Academy Sports+Outdoors for $299.99. Like the above grill you will need to have propane in order to grill on these. Blue-Rhino offers tanks for any gas grill.
Where can you find propane for the smaller grills?
The Coleman 16.4 ounce canisters can be found in the outdoor section at any Walmart, Target, or sporting good store that sells camping equipment and accessories. We have found it is cheaper to buy the double pack over the single canisters.
Where can you buy Blue Rhino propane tanks?
You can find Blue Rhino at most any place these days. You can find them at grocery stores, Sears, WalMart, and some sporting good stores. If Blue Rhine propane isn’t sold near you, look for your local propane tank exchanges or propane company.
