This game is set in the 1960s, and game follows Jake Conway, a Vietnam veteran and member of a family of bikers who swears vengeance on a rival gang after the murder of his brother. Ride in the town of Dead End to stop the gangs Jake loathes.
The only good things about this game are its average graphics, only that. The town is desolate and boring, characters have no emotion, or life, and the main character Jake is a nobody who tries way to hard to be tuff. The story is garbage, but worst of all is how women are portrayed as ‘objects’, not a human being. Almost every woman in this game is eventually given some sort of sexual behavior by Jake to such an offensive level, it is shameful and crude mockery to women. The sad part though is that the gameplay is just as bad.
Either riding a bike to areas or fighting either is done with one button. Every fight can be beaten by mashing a button, even the bike chases. The bike riding seems fun but due to noting to explore or do it becomes a chore very quickly. Obviously, the game must be horrible to make it on the ‘Worst Games of All Time List’ list but I must say f#%k you to anybody who told me to play this game. The character is suppose to be a badass with all the fighting and killing by stabbing, neck breaking, or motorcycle exploding. Just like the game’s presentation, Ride to Hell: Retribution is complete garbage in one package.
Overall, Ride to Hell: Retribution must be quite bad to make it in this category of worst games. Due to its poor story, boring world, heavy offensives to women, and downright try hard protagonist Jack, Ride to Hell: Retribution receives a 0.5/10. The only good thing about this game is the pause button and quit option.
