This post may contain some spoilers. I absolutely loved the Divergent movie. I loved how they brought the Divergent world alive. First off, I honestly do not think they could have picked a better person to play Tris. Shailene Woodley was absolutely amazing and portrayed Tris to a tee. I also loved how Theo James portrayed Four, he brought so much life to the character. The movie stayed very close to the events in the book. I was a little disappointed when Tris’ mother visited Tris at the Dauntless camp in the movie. I felt like in the book this was a crucial scene and it seemed like a quick though in the movie. I felt disappointed that it felt rushed and, unlike in the book, Tris’ mother did not tell her to talk to her brother. I really enjoyed the final simulation test in the movie. The way that they showed Tris’ fear simulation test in the movie. The way that they showed Tris’ fear simulation made it very clear and concise. I enjoyed seeing Tris be very firm with Four during the “rape” scene. I also enjoyed seeing everyone cheer her on and congratulating her on the way she handled Four. It showed young girls that you can be strong and stick up for yourself. It also was not like most scenes like that, that make the girl feel overpowered by the man. Overall, I loved this movie. Even if you did not read the book, you should see the movie. This was a great movie that people of all ages can enjoy this movie.
