Questioning is an essential attitude to evolution and universal maintenance. Without it we would be exposed to manipulation, conditioning and illusion.
From birth, we learn from the world around us: our parents teach us the values and lessons of life, society teach us the “right way” to live, the right models, paradigms. With these values, we set ourselves to a way of life (superego), and create habits that will guide us forever.
Unless we question it.
After we evolve and mature, we have all the tools to reevaluate our habits, patterns and designs that we are following, the result of our creation. Therefore it is essential that the individuals who wants to own their life and decisions, question everything they’ve been taught and come to their own conclusions.
Why do I eat this food? Why do I work where I work? Why do I sleep in this bed? Why do I live in this house? Why do I wear this type of clothing? Why do I watch TV? Why do I shower? Why I do drink beer every weekend? Why do I vote in this political party?
Did I choose all this?
The questions are endless and can be made at all times in our routine, and many of the findings will be similar to the standards already taught (importance of hygiene for example), but it is crucial that we find out ourselves the reasons we are living the way we live and finally make our own decisions for our lives.
