This past October, Pamela Anderson cut her famously-long locks to a very flattering short style. Her wardrobe, although still very sexy, has become more sophisticated. She is not wildly chasing fads or trying to look half her age. And there’s nothing wrong with her age. Not that she ever lacked confidence, but at forty-six years old, Pamela has found increased confidence, as do many women, once they reach their forties. It can be the most defining decade and turning point in channeling their inner and outer beauty through acute self-discovery and awareness.
Along with its wisdom, regrets and (hopefully) emotional maturity, age ages the body. Through a healthy diet and sensible exercise regime, a healthy woman can work out and remain physically (and emotionally) fit; however, skin will still change in tone and appearance as a person ages, so perhaps that person, Pamela, might decide to change her style as well.
If someone wants to keep and perhaps even re-ink their tattoos, more power to them. If a woman wants to basically dress in the same style she has for the longest time, or even try to dress in today’s teen styles, it is her right to do so. However, if a woman opts for an elegant style, they might want to eliminate the fading, tell-tale tattoo, as Pamela Anderson has decided to do.
Mail Online reports that Pamela is in the process of laser removal treatments of the barbed-wire tattoo she’s had since 1995 for her role in the film, Barb Wire. Mail Online shows an image of Pam in a chest-plunging, long-length, elegant white dress with the barbed-wire tattoo, now a shadow on her left arm, as it is gradually being zapped away. On her right wrist, is her replacement: an easily-removable, lovely pearl bracelet.
Laser removal does require several trips to the doctor’s office and is a slow, but mostly effective process. Otherwise, a tattoo might fade somewhat in color, but is a lifelong commitment, usually lasting longer than a spouse or mate. It’s easy to marry a tattoo, but it can be a painful and costly divorce.
Pamela is embracing the beginning of her aging years. She is not clinging to her fading youth by any acts of desperation. She’s accepting, adapting and looking marvelous during her smooth transition.
