Men don’t like shopping. Well, most men don’t like shopping. And my husband hates shopping more than most. So, to get him to buy something online (don’t us the “s” word), is hard.
After long and exhaustive research, I have come up with the two web sites that even a shopping adverse being like my husband likes. Loves maybe later.
This is my all time, number one, top drawer favorite for men’s clothes. And it’s kind of fun to get started. You click on a picture of your “Style” (Clueless, Confident or Aficionado). Then you chose a picture from a range to show the kinds of clothes you like to wear, click on logos for the stores you shop in, give them your measurements and presto, you are assigned a stylist. And since all of the stylists are young, attractive females, all the better. You can communicate with your stylist by phone, email, text or use the app. They send you a box that looks like a trunk full of the clothes you have agreed on. If you don’t like anything, there is a pre paid return label.
Think of this as the web site equivalent of a man cave. A guy can click through the categories that include grooming items, socks, shirts and underwear and put together his Manpack. Try the Condom Discovery Kit, a delightful little item call Fresh Balls or a body wash emblazoned with a picture of a guy wielding a sledge hammer, called Man Stuff. Then there is the Hemingway Shaving Kit and a fun range of grooming products labeled “Billy Jealously”. Choose from a wide array of no frill Hanes socks and underwear. “You click and we ship” the site says. It’s manly. It’s easy. And if you order over $49, shipping is free.
