Aaahh brunch! The ever-so-welcomed relative of breakfast and lunch is one of the best ways to catch up with friends and simply relax. I ventured on a quest to find the most ideal brunch spots in my city and these have been the best so far!
A bar, bistro and a cafe. This little hot spot is situated in Covington’s Mainstrasse, with your choice of a windowsill booth or outside patio seating. Enjoy this cafe with it’s beyond delicious brunch options. This extremely “brunchy” spot quickly became one of my favorites. It is sure to throw a bit of afternoon delight on your Sunday!
Nada is a cool and contemporary restaurant located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati on the corner of 6th and Walnut. Start off your weekend right with Chorizo Egg Enchiladas! Holding a Mexican flare with classic Mexican choices, Nada holds a relaxing yet fun and festive atmosphere.
French Crust Café’
A charming French café’ serving up excellence. Their croissants and French press coffee are my favorites. Make time for their breakfast and indulge in local goetta, poached eggs and Hollandaise.
Holding nothing but southern goodness, this tavern kicks out home-cooked southern comfort food and is famously known for their fried chicken and fried onion rings. The brunch bar consists of biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast, fried chicken and all the great down home and southern fixins’.
Some mornings just call for an old-fashioned American breakfast. Although, lacking in fanciness and trend, Echo is the quintessential neighborhood diner.
Corned Beef Hash in Guinness Gravy and Truckers Breakfast Casserole! This bar environment makes it extra easy to not only relax with your friends, but lets brunch drift into the late afternoon. If you are looking to make a day and night of it, this is your place!
Taste of Belgium
Stop in for the brunch burger. Served with all of your breakfast faves on one sandwich, the brunch burger is comprised of fried egg, Havarti, a pancake, bacon and syrup. Indulge and enjoy brunch like a Belgian with an order of crepes, waffles and espresso.
Situated in Mt. Adams, this is a great spot to check out. Holding a nice ambiance, whether you’re sitting with a group or enjoying the outdoor patio atmosphere. I have indulged myself in the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes which were beyond impeccable!
