Frankly, exercise is one of the healthiest ways to fight osteoporosis. Exercise such as walking will prompt the body to produce more bone cells, making bones stronger and denser. There is nothing wrong with a nice leisurely walk around your neighborhood or scenic path, so get out and walk.
Look in the kitchen
It should come as no surprise that foods that you consume play a role in fighting osteoporosis, but not every food you find in your kitchen needs to be eaten to play a role in fighting the decrepit bone thinning disease. Take a can of fruit or beans for example.
A simple one-pound can may be used for biceps curls, as the weight won’t add much stress to your brittle bones, but will definitely help to add muscle. Strengthening muscles will in part help to strengthen bones.
