I just recently woke up from one of the most mind blowing experiences that I’ve ever had. The reason I say woke up is because I was in a dream, but knew I was dreaming which is called lucid dreaming. For people who have never had a lucid dream, let me tell you, you are missing out big time!
My lucid started off with me talking to a couple of friends in a basement. We were all sitting down on wooden chairs talking just like how we would talk in real life. The reason I knew I was dreaming 10 seconds after is because my friends’ faces turned into my face. I started talking to my friends who now had my face and I questioned how that was possible and quickly realized that it isn’t and that I must be in a lucid dream. The second I realized I was dreaming, I quickly stood up and walked over to the stairs. When I got to the stairs I was already fully conscious so I was making every decision at will. When I approached the stairs, I had a strong urge to fly and in a lucid dream anything is possible, so I did just that.
I would explain flying up the stairs as more of a hovering over every step. It was so surreal and felt exactly like real life. After I got to the door at the top of the steps, I decided to walk right through the door and actually did. At that point I was ready to experiment with the dream world. I did not recognized the house that I was in but somehow knew how to get to the garage. So many opportunities where right in front of me at that moment when I got to the garage and opened it. The whole world was at my hands is how I would explain the feeling that I had as the garage was opening. I was fully conscious in a dream world that had every perfect detail of the real world to it and I could do anything I wanted right there and then.
The garage was open and my body had no lag in-between thoughts and my body decided it wanted to fly because of my obsession of flying. I then dove out onto the garage floor but was sitting there hovering in the superman position. I then flew out of the garage and barley missed the top of the garage. I was flying with very accurate precision and felt like I was in complete control. After I flew out of the garage I headed straight up to the clouds. The wind hitting my face was just like riding a bike downhill at full speed. I was looking at the clouds then looked down at the landscape and was wondering how everything looked so real. There was no way that I was flying up to the sky and the clouds/landscape where exactly as they are in real life. There was so much adrenaline flowing through my body like a waterfall and everything felt like it was marveled.
I knew I could go to the moon if I wanted to but when I got up to the white clouds I decided that was far enough and I wanted to go fly close to the landscape to feel the full potential of the dream. I then flew in an arch in the sky and headed for the ground. All the trees where so real, so beautiful and incredibly HD. I was heading towards the ground and saw a sign so I flew about and inch over it and just missed the collusion. Mid air I was astonished at how precise my capability of flying was. It felt so natural to my instincts and truly felt like hugging a long lost sibling. As I flew over the landscape I examined everything that caught my eye, but couldn’t find any flaws in anything I saw. After a while of flying I landed right by a tree that had a big branch extended to the left of it like a hand. The tree was so peaceful and was shinning green. I decided to stand there for a second and absorb what I have just been through. An experience like no other. An experience that will truly never be topped even if I do go skydiving someday. That is how real it felt. Anyone that is interested in Lucid Dreaming and wants to learn about how that can practice at it to achieve full lucidity should look up ” how to lucid dream” on Google.
