My whole teenage life I was so skinny; I was barely 90 pounds. I wouldn’t say I managed my weight because I ate everything in sight. I was addicted to junk food but never gained a pound. That all changed when I began to have my babies. The weight got so much harder to lose. The worst part is that for a long time I was in denial.
Then one Christmas Eve party, everything changed. Before I went to the party, I was convinced that I was still skinny. I knew I had gained some weight, even though I didn’t have the courage to see how much. Still, I thought I couldn’t be considered overweight. As I said, that all changed at the party. Everyone was taking pictures, including myself. When I looked at the picture, I was immediately shocked. I thought to myself, there is no way that can be me. Sadly, it was me and I was definitely overweight.
It was time to step on the scale. The number on the scale was 199. I couldn’t believe it, in the blink of eye I went from 90 pounds to 199 pounds. It was time to lose weight any way possible. I am a control freak, so I needed to have a plan written down. First things first, it was time for some research.
My research showed that it was going to take time and effort to accomplish my goal. Good news is I also found some short cuts. I found a way to balance what I eat without starving myself and doing exercise without overworking my body — all in a small time frame. Below I have posted my weight loss plan, that worked wonders on me.
- 1 hour dancing a day.
- Count calories/Cutting calories in half
- Add pure lemon juice to everything
- Drink Green Tea three times a day
- Wrap belly
- Hold in stomach as much as possible
Now, the first one on my list is dancing daily. Put on music you enjoy to hear and just dance like crazy. It is fun and helps burn calories. If you can’t do the full hour, cut it into pieces throughout the day. I find it burns more calories to do the whole hour. Of course, I take five minute breaks in between.
Counting calories is key for this weight loss plan. I stay below 1000 calories a day. The best part is that I do not have to eat vegetables. I do not like any vegetables and only tolerate some fruits. So if I wanted to eat a bag of chips, I could. All I have to do is make sure that I am counting the calories. I love this step because it is dieting, without actually dieting.
Lemons are great for burning calories. The lemon juice has acid that helps burn calories with no effort. Lemon juice also burns the fat cells in our body. So just put a little lemon juice into everything you drink and start burning calories instantly. You could even add some lemon juice to chicken, soup or even fatty foods.
Drink green tea three times a day. Green tea also helps burn calories. It gets your engine going and ready to burn calories. I suggest adding lemon juice to the green tea for a better impact. It is also best to drink the green tea right before dancing. Like I said the green tea gets your engine going and ready to burn calories.
Now if your anything like me and want your flat belly back, then I suggest you wrap it up. There are belly burners that are not expensive. Although if you prefer you could use plastic wrap to put around your belly. Making the belly sweat is key. While you dance you sweat and with a wrapped belly you sweat even more. Try to use it even when your not exercising so that throughout the day your stomach sweats. The more calories you burn, the more weight you lose.
Holding in your stomach while you go about your day helps. It is trying to form your belly like clay. You want it to take a certain shape, so hold your belly in so it takes the shape. Now it is impossible to keep it in all day, but whenever you can you should do it. Anytime I walk, dance or drive, I am holding in my belly. It truly worked wonders.
I followed my weight loss plan for three straight months and it worked! I had to go clothes shopping for a whole new wardrobe. Watching as my clothes got bigger made me work even harder. Today I weigh 141 pounds! I have come a long way and plan to go further. This plan works and the best part is that it works quickly.
