Mother is the epitome of unconditional love. Mother is the most important word and single-most common word rhyming Ma in almost every language across the world.
Mother’s Day – One of her own days that we owe to her
Every year, Mother’s Day marks the month of May in our calendars. How well marked! We wish our mothers a Happy Mother’s Day with a flower, a handbag (I gave it to my mother), a ring, a dress, a perfume, an outing or any other gift. It’s not a day but a representative day for our mother’s effort for us throughout the year. She doesn’t expect but is happy with any small gift from our side. We have to thank her for her endeavor to nourish us, cherish us and nurture us every day, hour and minute of our life. How many of us do not look towards mother in times of problem? How many of us do not jump towards sharing our joy with mother? The answers are obvious.
Mothers- Panacea For All
We vie for our mother’s attention. We fight with our siblings, get scolding and scathing from mother, at times we feel bad for the same, but finally we get every nod for everything that we want from our mother. She convinces dad for our new bikes, prepares stuff for our vacations, reminds us of our pending tasks, worries for our problems, teaches us for our exams, cooks delicious recipes, accompanies us in dark nights, soothes us in crying times, and does almost everything on earth for us.
Nothing can be hidden from mother. She can make out everything in our life. Many a time I don’t tell my mother about my sadness but she makes it out without much effort and finds out a way for me. We vent out our feelings of frustration, anger, success, failure, joy, sorrow, curiosity, disgust etc. Our mother is our Jackpot in life.
Mothers never fail! Their blessings never go in vain. Their anger peps us up in life.
Though Mother’s Day comes and goes every year, every country celebrates it with the same fervor.
Rather than waiting for one day to show our gratitude to our mothers, we should start making New Year’s resolutions on what to do for our mother in a year.
Mom! Thank you and we love you…
