It’s a big year for video game releases and just the next few months alone promise to bring some huge hits. Here are five games hitting shelves soon.
March 11, 2014: PC, Xbox One
March 25, 2014: Xbox 360
This Microsoft-exclusive first-person shooter is set to score big sales. Developed by a few of the geniuses behind the hugely successful Call of Duty franchise, players can expect similar success from Titanfall. But don’t expect too many other similarities. This futuristic FPS has players running up walls, flying around with jet packs, piloting mechs, and much more. Its creators even skipped a campaign mode altogether, instead opting to make the game multiplayer-only with a campaign feel. Titanfall is definitely a game to get excited about. More info.

Ground Zeroes, the prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and taking place after Peace Walker, will also mark Metal Gear Solid’s debut on Xbox consoles. While rumor has it that one play-through takes only about two hours, players will be able to extend their experience with side missions and by competing with friends online. More info.
Infamous: Second Son
March 21, 2014: PS4
Infamous: Second Son, the third installment of the Infamous series, is an open-world action-adventure game exclusive to Playstation 4. Developed solely for a next-gen system, the game is expected to be significantly more visually appealing and the gameplay more engaging. Players will also be introduced to a few new components. The somewhat lifeless Cole MacGrath will be replaced by a younger, more relatable protagonist, Delsin Rowe. Morals will also now play a central role in determining the direction of the plot, giving players many different ways to play the game by making different decisions. More info.
