A Dip to Remember
We all know how guests at parties or get togethers enjoy great entertainment, and most of all, great food. These dip recipes will definitely give them something to talk about. Something good, of course! With the help of these recipes, your dip making mastery will surely impress your guests.
Pumpkin Dessert Dip
You will need:
-1 package of softened cream cheese (8 ounces)
-1 jar of puffed marshmallow creme (7 ounces)
-1/2 a cup of canned pumpkin
-1/4 a teaspoon of ground cinnamon
-1/4 a teaspoon of ground nutmeg
Instructions:
The first step in creating your surely popular pumpkin dip is to toss together all the above listed ingredients and stir them together thoroughly. Then simply put it all in a decorated or fancy dish if you’d like, and refrigerate until chilled to perfection. When you set it out for people to eat, serve it with chopped up fresh fruit and or ginger snap cookies for your guest to scoop it up with.
Chili Cheese Dip
You will need:
-1 package of softened cream cheese (8 ounces)
-1 can of chili con carne (15 ounces)
-1 can of chopped green chilies (4 ounces)
-1/2 a cup of the salsa of your choice
-1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Begin your chili cheese dip by first spreading the cream cheese over the bottom of a medium sized glass casserole dish evenly. Next, layer on the chili con carne, the salsa, and lastly the green chilies on top. Then you sprinkle on the grated cheese and bake at about 350 degrees until the grated cheese appears melted. Then you can serve it with Fritos or tortilla chips to scoop it up!
Taco Dip
You will need:
-8 ounces of sour cream
-8 ounces of mayonnaise
-1/2 a package of taco seasoning
-2 medium sized chopped tomatoes
-3 chopped scallions
-2 cans of green chilies (4 ounces a piece)
-1 small can of chopped black olives
-grated cheese
-bacon bits
Instructions:
The first step in making this taco dip is to mix the sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning all together in a bowl. Then you take this mixture and spread it evenly in the bottom of a glass casserole dish and begin to layer on the tomatoes first, then the scallions, green chilies, and the olives. Once all of that is in place, toss the grated cheese over it, followed by the bacon bits. When you serve it, place tortilla chips alongside the dish and enjoy!
