When summer time hits, and grass clippings chime in with seared steak, it’s like a taste of heaven that beckons us to hit the breaks, soak in the sunshine, and gather together with friends and family. Nothing signals the true beginning of summer time quite like the celebration of Memorial Day. Whether you’re related to someone who has served in our nation’s military, you’re a veteran yourself, or you’re simply a truly grateful American, Memorial Day celebrations all across the country bring families together to celebrate life and freedom while remembering the sacrifice of many.
