Mario Kart is a racing game that most people grew up playing, and the young generation of today will continue to play. The Wii U doesn’t compare to the power of the Xbox One or the Playstation 4, but it does bring family together of all ages. When Mario Kart Wii came out, it offered online play, which made it more fun for people who didn’t want to play alone. Mario Kart 8 will use the power of the Wii U to finally have HD graphics, and more characters.
Mario Kart 8 will include 32 stages with half of them being new, while the others are remakes. There are some new items, and classic items, like the red shell, star, and etc. The vehicles include various karts and motorcycles that can transform for under-water driving, and flying through stages. There’s also new characters, like the Koopalings from New Super Mario Bros Wii U.
This will be another classic in the Mario Kart series, and whoever owns a Wii U should get Mario Kart 8. The Wii U hasn’t had much success, so Mario Kart should be next on Wii U owners list. The kids will love it, and the family will laugh and have fun just like most of us that has grown up on Mario Kart. This is also one of Nintendo’s games that allows people to play online with other friends, which is something Nintendo isn’t used to doing. I’ll be looking forward to Mario Kart 8, when it hits stores on May 30, 2014.
