Lack of Vision Keeping You From Moving Forward? Consider the Following Key Elements!

by yak max

There have been times in my life when I had no vision; when vision is absent there’s no direction – no clue as to where to go from here. Are you there? I hope this article will provide you with inspiration and insight!

Key Elements

  • Guidance
  • Vision
  • Goals
  • Positive thinking
  • Determination
  • Commitment
  • Dedication

Breaking each key element down

Vision

For me having a “vision” is the foremost “key element” activating movement towards a goal. Without a vision there’s a void — lack of direction; but, when vision arrives it’s like a light leading the way. As long as I’m being lead by a vision I can “move” – take steps towards bringing it into manifestation!

Guidance

Guidance can come from different sources: A book, person of wisdom, another person’s life experience, or a higher power.

When there’s no vision I pray; it stands to reason that if I — in, and of myself, could bring about a vision, I could conjure one up at will. However, I’ve tried unsuccessfully to accomplish doing so. So I go to my quiet space and turn my thoughts inward and outward to whom I consider my higher power — God; until vision arrives!

Positive Thinking

Once I receive a vision I move towards it; taking the steps necessary to achieve my goal. I tend to stay in prayer to receive “guidance and direction” regarding where to go when I come to forks in the road or I’m at a standstill.

When attempting to put a goal into action, hurdles and negative thoughts will come your way. For example: a thought that suggest — I can’t do this; etc. I throw positive thinking at the culprit and defy and renounce its negative connotations and keep moving forward!

Positive thinking can be a powerful device for jumping hurdles and confronting every negativity or force that comes your way that would attempt to hinder you from reaching your goals. It might sound easier said than done, however, meeting negativity with “positivity” will defeat the culprit. With practice you will realize it for yourself!

Determination

If you want something bad enough you will be determine to have it! Determination requires strength and longevity. It’s called work; working towards your goal and never giving in or up; staying the course until you achieve your goal and see the vision manifested!

Determination is also a mindset. How you think has everything to do with reaching ones goal. Determination incorporates, staying positive, leaning on your source of guidance, and believing that you can be successful in seeing your goal come to pass!

Dedication

Did you know that you can be “dedicated” to accomplishing a goal yet not stick to it? It happens; you have a desire and a willingness to see a thing through, however, for various reasons you don’t. So, dedication alone might not get you to the end of the road — it just gets you started; which is a plus, but you need what it will take to get you all the way and keep you moving forward; which brings us to the next key element.

Commitment

In order for me to be committed to anything there needs to be a reason behind “why” I would commit myself to being committed. The reason would need to hold a level of importance that would cause me to be committed and stay committed until the end result has been achieved.

I suppose each individual has their own personal reason for being committed; it’s just a matter of determining what your reason is.

Hope for a brighter tomorrow
