The Rascals song “A Ray of Hope” lyrics”
“As long as there is a ray of hope
Lord, I don’t mind going out and doing my work
Light up the way to brotherhood” describes how we should feel about the 99%. We are all brothers. If you don’t think so stop and think. It is mere luck if you have a skill that our worldwide economy values and you have it better than a homeless person. It is mere luck if you have kept your health, sanity, marriage, family or home and you have it better than a down and out soul
In the December 2010 article “What Does Their Demands that that Top 1% Must Get Bigger Slice of Pie–with Our Economic Turmoil, Say About the GOP?” delineates how since the beginning of his administration President Obama has attempted to help those in need only to be repulsed by the GOP.
The article “Watch President Obama BLAST Millionaire GOP Senators Who Blocked Minimum Wage Increase!” describes how currently the “Party of No” continues shafting the 99% while helping the powerful fat cats.
The GOP has made a cold blooded calculation. They figure that they give the powerful fat cats everything they can steal from the powerless 99%. The GOP has put its boots on our necks for so long and it isn’t fair.
The article “5 Reasons Why Raising The Minimum Wage Is Going Nowhere For Now” describes the political calculation the GOP has made to shaft us.
How vicious is the GOP to callously subjugate us to unending misery. The article states “Republicans see the Democratic push to raise the minimum wage as merely “political theater” to demonize conservatives during the mid-term elections.” The GOP view about the minimum wage relates to the clueless, heartless 33% of our population. What wouldn’t these mean-hearted dullards vote for? When you have little going for you wish misery onto others.
Look, for goodness sakes our infrastructure is crumbling as never before. We have to fix it now. That means we’ll have to get some poor souls off the unemployment roles, and that doesn’t suit the GOP.
The article “In N.Y., Obama calls for spending to improve nation’s roads and rails” describes how the “Party of No’s” intractability will cost the US jobs and this is a matter the GOP is blaming the Democrats for.
The article states “”Building a world-class transportation system is one of the reasons America became an economic superpower in the first place,” Obama said, noting the decline in federal investment in recent years as China and other developing countries increase their spending. “First-class infrastructure attracts first-class jobs.”‘
The GOP isn’t content on only ruining our economy in the immediate future. By their stupidity the “Party of No” is hurting our economy for the foreseeable future also just to do the bidding of their masters-the Koch brothers and others of their ilk.
