Outdoor exercise, along with fruits and vegetables is the way to go!!
I’m not a gym person, so I take advantage of the warm months of spring to sculpt my body into shape.
Once it gets warm, I’m out the door appreciating Mother Nature!
During the spring months, I start my program by walking around the block, which is about a mile long circle, making the most of my moments by being attentive concerning my goal.
I commence at a steady gradual pace in order to warm the muscles. Then, as I get into the walk, I’ll extend my legs a little father outward to give my body more of a challenge, and to build muscle.
I consistently walk the circle for a few weeks or until my body motions me that it’s become accustom to the routine and needs a more challenging environment in order to drop additional pounds, and “build extensive muscle.” So, I venture out to higher ground.
Years ago I selected a variety of outdoor training grounds within the surrounding vicinity of my home. University of Maryland Baltimore County University is one of my favorite training grounds. I find everything needed, within the outdoor campus environment, to lose weight, and build muscle.
A large circle encompasses the UMBC campus facilities. In comparison to the circle near my home, it offers more incline. The rest of the UMBC outdoor environment offers a multitude of variation such as: steps, hills, downward slopes, levels of incline, as well as flat surfaces. I take advantage of all the different options towards achieving my weight losing goal!
For the duration of Spring I transfer from one training ground to a more advanced one, for the purpose of achieving my ultimate weight losing goal, and to build extensive muscle.
Nutrition is an important component in losing weight. Mainly my diet consists of eating fruits, plant protein, salads, nuts, a variety of cooked/steamed vegetables, and plenty of water.
I remain consistent with my weight losing program throughout the spring months, which gives me approximately 3 months to drop pounds gained over the winter, attain my desired weight goal, and ready me for summer!!
My weight losing method has never failed me in bringing about desired results. There are so many additional benefits to working the program outdoors!
