He’s making eye contact
Guys have short attention spans, so don’t expect him to be gazing into your orbs for hours and hours. That would be scary anyway. The question is: Where does he focus most of his attention? If his eyes spend most of the time following the girl across the restaurant whose sweater is two sizes too small, and only dart over to you when you sneeze, then he’s distracted. But if a guy is into you, his attention will keep coming back to you, no matter how many tight sweaters walk by.
His body faces yours
When a guy likes you, he inadvertently turns his whole body your way. One way to check is to see which way his feet are pointing. If his toes always point directly at you, then he’s smitten.
He gets in close
When you see people in love, as much of their bodies as possible are touching. Their heads are together, they’re holding hands, and they’re pressed against each other. It’s like they’re trying to become one person. So when a guy likes you, he tries to get as close to you as he can. He’s going to lean in, he’s going to slide his chair next to yours, and he’s going to get his face up in your face. On the other hand, if he doesn’t like you, his body is going to show it by being as far away from you as possible.
He smiles a lot
Guys show sexual attraction by flashing their pearly whites. Maybe it goes back to the caveman days where they had to bare their teeth to fight off saber-toothed tigers. If your guy smiles all the time when he’s near you-genuinely smiles-then he’s having a good time.
There are some things you can do for him so that he can read what your body is saying. You need to tell him as obviously as you can, without actually saying it, that you want him to kiss you. He is going to look to you for the signals that say it’s okay for him to make a move. Remember to open your body toward him. If you’re hunched over and hugging yourself like you’re in a straitjacket, that doesn’t send the message for him to come over there and ravish you. You need to sit up straight and keep your arms at your sides. If you’re sitting, point your knees toward him and tilt your head in his direction.
