Whether you are heading out to an Easter picnic or wanting to add a little bohemian fashion flare, this craft project is easy to do. Make several and share with your friends! I spent $20 for the supplies and had enough to create 20 garlands. That equals one dollar each for twenty heads full of loving thoughts for your crafting skills!
Spring Fairy Flower Hair Wreaths
Purchase or Gather:
Beads (large hole)
Floral Wire (22 gauge)
Artificial Flower Bouquets
Cut 2 Lengths of Floral Wire
(about 50 cm)
Fold wire in half and twist a loop at the end
Twist two wires together in the middle
Pull off all leaves
Pull off flowers with the stem attached
Crazy Glue flowers to the stems
(if they are loose)
Add beads and twist wire to hold in place
Braid the wires once or twice
Add leaves and twist wire to hold in place
Braid flowers into the wreath wires
Wire cut any excess wire, feed end through the loop created at the beginning, twist to close.
At minimum; four each of beads, flowers, and leaves are needed to create one hair wreath. Add as many flowers and beads as you prefer. Each wreath averaged 15 to 20 minutes to complete once preparations were done. All the supplies I used for this project were purchased from Joann Fabrics.
