Welcome Hay Dayers! Let’s get down to business, you want to make money on Hay Day, and here’s how to do it. Forget spending hours making goods to end up waiting forever for them to sell, that’s what everyone is doing. Instead use these tips below, and you’ll be raking it in in no time!
Using Tom to Make Money on Hay Day
You can buy Tom for one day for 15 diamonds, and it’s well worth it. Hay Day is good about rewarding diamonds frequently, so save those diamonds up! First, make sure you can spend the majority of that day utilizing him. Try not to buy him for the day then take off to work. You can send Tom to find goods and crops for you every 2 hours. You then buy them cheap from him, and sell high at your roadside shop. You want to make sure you get things that sell well and sell for the most.
It will depend on your level as to what you can sell. I’ve done very well sending Tom after cherries, apples, blackberries, and raspberries. These crops take a long time to grow on your own, and people buy them up quickly for the full price. Also go to your roadside shop and see what goods sell for the highest price, you might try sending Tom after some of those and see how quickly you can sell them.
Getting Special Items in Hay Day
Special items usually sell for a lot, and you can use them to upgrade your barn and silo. So here’s another trick you can use to make money fast. Start growing wheat, and only wheat. It only takes 2 minutes to grow, and approximately every 70 fields you harvest you get a special item. You can sell these for more money, or stockpile them to upgrade your Hay Day buildings and land areas.
Now what to do with all that wheat? Well if you only have wheat, visitors will only ask for wheat, so just keep selling it to them! If your silo is too full, put your wheat on sale for a penny, it usually sells fast. Granted that’s not making much money off of it, but it frees up space so you can plant more wheat, and thus get more special items!
Once you’ve upgraded enough, or made enough money, then you can go back to making goods and stockpiling other things. Just search the newspapers, or visit Greg’s farm to get seeds for growing other crops.
Hay Day Newspaper
Last but not least, take advantage of Hay Day’s newspaper to make money. Believe it or not, lots of people sell goods way under top value. You can search the newspaper and visit lots of farms looking for the low priced items, then resell them at a higher price.
The newspaper refreshes every few minutes, but if you don’t like what you’re seeing, simply change the language setting and it will refresh the newspaper right away. So you can do endless shopping, and selling of course!
Well there you have it, 3 great ways to make money on Hay Day! Certainly not the only ways, and not the only strategies. But I’ve found that these ways have worked fairly well for me. So have fun, and make lots of money Hay Dayers!
